William "Bill" LeMoyne Delcuze, 81, of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and honorably served as an intelligence officer in Thailand during the Vietnam War during which he reached the rank of Captain. He held degrees from Mississippi State University and William Carey College.
He was a loving father, teacher, mentor and preacher. He loved the Gulf Coast and always called it home. He had a real passion for people from all walks of life. He never met a stranger and looked for any opportunity to share the Gospel and God's love for them. He dedicated his life to reaching the lost and teaching the Bible. We know that he truly touched the lives of countless people. We also know that he is where he wanted to be, with Jesus talking his ear off! He will be missed.
Bill was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Stella Rose Delcuze; great-granddaughter, Jolie Annelise Marin; parents, Godfrey Hugh Delcuze and Marion Love Aikin Delcuze; and two brothers, Godfrey Stewart Delcuze and Morgan Terrell Delcuze.
He is survived by his daughter, Dene Delcuze Mitzel (Fritz); two sons, David LeMoyne Delcuze and Charles Sumner Delcuze (Lindy); eight grandchildren, Lydia "Jonae" Mitzel Marin (Brandon), Caleb McCoy Mitzel, Mason "Kolby" Mitzel, Chayse "Dreux" Delcuze, Aiden William Delcuze, Brendan David Delcuze, Weston John Delcuze, and Isabella Sumner Delcuze; two great-grandchildren, Masyn Marlise "Marlie" Marin and Corbin James Langford-Mitzel; brother, Robert Victor Delcuze (Bet); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will take place on Monday, October 28, 2024. Visitation and Memorial Service at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, Bay Saint Louis, MS. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service and Air Force Honors will be at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
