Theresa Anne Andries

Theresa Anne Andries, 38, of Covington, LA passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Diamondhead, MS.
As the youngest of five children, Theresa Anne Andries earned her competitive spirit naturally from the day she was born on Valentine’s Day, 1984. A natural athlete on the basketball court and equally smart in the classroom, Theresa would conquer every task while letting everyone know that “good things come in small packages.”   After graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University, Theresa began her career by working with troubled youth as a probation and parole officer, but her entrepreneurial spirit eventually led her to open her own retail store in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, where she never met a stranger. With creative talent and skills to match, Theresa was able to see the good in everyone and everything that many overlooked.  The entire time Theresa pursued her professional interests, she maintained close friendships that revolved around the outdoors, including four- wheeling, fishing, tubing, and, of course, boiling crawfish. Above all, Theresa was dedicated to her beloved nieces and nephews, and especially her cousin, Charles Austin, who all held a very special place in her heart.  She was a loving daughter, a thoughtful sister, the best aunt, and someone always willing to lend a helping hand.  Theresa will be missed by all those who loved her and those not lucky enough to have met her.
Theresa is survived by her parents, Edward and Camille Andries; sister, Michelle Salzer (Jason); brother, Michael Andries (Cherie); brother, Kevin Andries (Leah); sister, Julie Johnson (Will); nieces and nephews, Haley, Christian, Elisabeth, Laura, Kate, Carson, Cameron, Maggie, Molly, and Benjy, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Everyone is invited to attend Theresa’s Celebration of Life at St. Joseph Abbey: 75376 River Road, Saint Benedict, Louisiana, 70457 on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. , Rosary at 1:30 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. Burial to immediately follow.
