Susan Josephine Bordages

Susan Josephine Bordages, 74, of Bay St. Louis, MS, passed away on February 3, 2025.

Susan was a woman of quick wit, undeniable charm, and an open heart. She had a way of accepting people as they were—quirks and all—and could make anyone feel welcome. Her laugh was something special; it was something you had to earn, and when you did, it was worth every bit of effort.

She loved playing bingo with her neighbor, a pastime that brought her joy and a little friendly competition. She also made a mean Bloody Mary, and no doubt offered you one if you visited her home. Her legacy is one of laughter, kindness, and a well-mixed cocktail. She will be deeply missed.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph Bordages and Helen Arnold Bordages, as well as her beloved daughter, Katherine Helen Lee.  She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Lee Cox (Carl), eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. 

A celebration of her life with her family will be held at a later date.
