Ronald Joseph Garcia, Sr.

Ronald Joseph "R.J." Garcia, Sr.,83, of Diamondhead, MS passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, in Gulfport, Mississippi.

R.J. was a man of conviction, known for his straightforwardness and unwavering honesty. His passions included golfing, classic cars, visiting the casino, and collecting beer signs. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Pat and Ester Garcia; two brothers, James and Carl Garcia; sister, Shirley Netto; and brother-in-law, Milton Paske.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Dianne Garcia; son, Ronald J. Garcia, Jr.; daughter, Susan Garcia; brother, Clayton Garcia; sister, Artha Paske; two grandsons, Harley and Rick Garcia; two granddaughters, Ashley Calecas and Destiny Moran; as well as eight great-grandsons: Anthony Garcia, Julian Garcia, Domingo Munoz, Harrison Moran III, Christopher Talley, Zane Garcia, Royce, and Bentley; two great-granddaughters, Felicity Moran and Brianna Williams; and daughter-in-law, Trish Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Lakeshore Cemetery in Lakeshore, Mississippi.
