Philip W. Carbo, 70, of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, peacefully passed away in his home on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Philip was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Walter and Muriel Carbo on June 7, 1953. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was a Tugboat Captain, electrician in MS, and owned Captain Carbo's Record Bar in the 80's with his brother. He loved to fish, ride his Harley, woodwork, tinker in his yard while watching the birds, spending time with friends at Cruising the Coast, and had a love for animals. He was a loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. His nicknames were Captain Phil, Uncle Phil, and Uncle "Wah Wah."
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Priscilla Younger Carbo; brother, Chadwick Carbo; sister, Lorna Maniscalco (Mike); and many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Services will take place at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9, 2024, Visitation from 3:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. A family burial will take place at a later date in New Orleans.
