Pamela “Pam” Brown, 80, of Waveland, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
Pam was born on March 17, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Joseph and Marietta Alloy. She was a longtime member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, Mississippi. Pam was quite the presence, truly a personality that would fill the room. She loved Mardi Gras, sewing, visiting the beach, visiting the mountains and hiking, and traveling to Helen, Georgia. Pam loved and supported the U.S. Armed Forces, the Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts, even volunteering with the local scouting programs. She also loved gardening and flowers so much that she owned a florist during her life, creating beautiful arrangements for many events, including weddings and Mardi Gras Kings and Queens.
Pam was preceded in death by her three children, Lynley Brown, Louis Reese, and Leigh Reese; her parents, Joseph and Marietta Alloy; and sister, Marietta “Christine” Westbrook.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Paul Brown; seven grandchildren, Kaleb Brown (Gabrielle), Sean Brown (Sara), Taylor Brown (Maria Christina), Chad Burch (Kelly), Michaela Reese, Maximus Reese, and Maylee Reese; six great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Addilynn, Kinsleigh, Emersyn, James, and Savannah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at St. Clare Catholic Church, visitation at 10:30 a.m. with mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery & Mausoleum in New Orleans, Louisiana.
