Milton Joseph Cuevas

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday October 14th at 10:30 a.m., preceded by Visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., for Milton Joseph Cuevas, a Bay St. Louis native, who passed away February 25th at his home in Washington Township, NJ .He was 88.

The Visitation and funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church in Bay Saint Louis, with burial with military honors for the former Army Paratrooper in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Born November 12, 1934, Milton was the second of seven children of Monroe F. Cuevas, Sr. and Margaret Oakley-Fayard Cuevas, both deceased. Milton was also preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd, Donald and Monroe Jr. Cuevas.
He is survived by daughter Margaret Kathleen Ferraro (Salvatore) and son Milton Joseph Cuevas II (Jennifer). Survivors also include five grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia and Joseph Ferraro, and Maxwell and Jackson Cuevas, and sister Rosemarie Cuevas Schaap and brothers Irvin and Vincent Cuevas.
In lieu of flowers, it was Milton’s wish that any contributions be made to St. Stanislaus College in Bay Saint Louis.
