Mickie Jean Fricke

She was a member of Central Bible Church in Bay St Louis, MS. She enjoyed taking care of animals, going to church, working in the yard, shopping, selling honey at the local farmer’s market and spending time with kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, Winford and Nora Lee Anderson and two step sons, Stevie Fricke and Lance Fricke.

Mickie was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. We are deeply saddened by her loss, and she will be greatly missed by her family and many others.

She is survived by her wonderful and loving husband, Robert "Bob" Fricke; two daughters, Schenel Fricke and Debbie Ladner (Pavolini); four sons, Robert "Bobby" Fricke Jr, Jody Ladner, Scott Ladner, and Terrel "Brother" Ladner Jr.; seventeen grandchildren, Brandon Pavolini, Shelly Hansen, Taylor Green, Trey Ladner, Brianna Ladner, Madelynne Ladner, Scottie Ladner, Charlotte Ladner, Gabby Ladner, Seth Ladner, Lybie Ladner, Chloe Fricke, Declan Fricke, Eden Fricke, Kayla Fricke, Caleb Fricke, Micha Fricke; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Anderson, and two sisters, Linda Buckley and Marilyn Smith.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to King’s Kitchen at Central Bible Church: 2005 Longfellow Rd, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520 or Friends of the Animal Shelter Hancock County: P.O. Box 2274 Bay St Louis, MS 39521.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment will be followed in the afternoon for the immediate family.
