Mary Frances Ladner Seymour; also known as "Tee"; also known as "Manky"; also known as "Mema"; but most importantly known as "Mama" 86, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 in Carriere, MS.
Mary was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church where she was a eucharistic minister and a member of the Legion of Mary. She was a member of the Italian Society. She enjoyed dancing, spending time with friends, Bay High and Hancock sporting events and spending time with family. She especially loved talking on the phone. Mary began her career at the telephone company, then moved on to work at Mississippi Power. After leaving the power company, she began her lifelong career as a banking teller at Merchants Bank and retired at The First Bank. She loved her customers and co-workers. She loved sports and made every game she could! She is described by her family as sassy, outgoing, bubbly, funny, loving, and in a league all of her own. She was known for giving the best hugs. She was a beautiful soul.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer "Wimpy" Seymour; parents, Ervin and Jennie Compretta Ladner and brother-in-law, Glen Sellier.
She is survived by her two sons, Steve Seymour (Beth), and Will Seymour (Jenny); daughter, Gina White (Tracy); seven grandchildren, Summer (Lance), Hunter (Melanee), Wes, Jill (Caden), Walker, Jensen (Joel), and Spencer; seven great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Harper, Oakleigh, Leighton, Jackson, Hazel, and Izaac; brother, Anthony Ladner (Sharon); sister, Jerry Ann Sellier; sister-in-law, Maxine Seymour; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Italian Society Tomb in Bay St. Louis, MS.
