Maria Del Refugio Andrade

Maria Del Refugio Andrade, 60, of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

Maria was born in Michoacan, Mexico on November 8, 1964 to Jesus Andrade Valencia and Rebeca Valencia Cervantez. She moved to the U.S. at 26 years old. She was a woman of faith and devoted to her family, never missing an opportunity to be there for them and to show them support. She was a strong woman, loved by many people. Thank you for all that was given, we will all be reunited in another lifetime. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Manuel Valencia; and her parents, Jesus and Rebeca Valencia. 

She is survived by seven children, Manuel (Rocio), Jorge (Carolina), Ana (Jose), Fransisco (Thalia), Eloisa (Celso), Teresa (Hector), Rebeca (Luis); 22 grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Junior, Nathan, Noel, Armando, Salvador, Isabell, Aaron, Giovanni, Leo, Aitana, Jesse, Celso, Santiago, Jose, Natalie, Angelina, Eloisa, Almeyda, Paulin, and Ailiana; 13 siblings, Jose, Jesus, Benito, Olivia, Maria, Ana, Celia, Gloria, Angelica, Silvia, Melda, Lorena, and Lupe; numerous nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Mr. Kevin and Mr. Lenny.

Service will take place on Friday, December 27, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport, Mississippi. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery in Diamondhead, Mississippi.
