Larry J Santinelli

   Larry J. "Satch" Santinelli,  72, of Lakeshore, MS passed away due to a lengthy illness, Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in Kiln, MS.  
Larry was a graduate of Bay High School in Bay St. Louis "Class of 1969". He started work at a young age working on a shrimp boat, and for Sammy Perniciaro's Garage. As an adult he went to work for Winn Dixie in Jackson, MS and Piggly Wiggly in Summit, MS retiring as a meat market manager. In 2010 after retirement, he moved back to his hometown of Bay St. Louis, MS. from Jayess, MS to be near family and friends.
He was a loving man and enjoyed time spent with family, friends. He enjoyed playing cards, crabbing, riding horses, cooking, and dancing. He will be sadly missed by all. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward J. Santinelli, Sr. and Cordelia M. Ladner Santinelli; sister, Irma Jane Ulrich;  and nephew, Michael A. Fayard, Jr.  
He is survived by two children, Karen Santinelli of Jacksonville, AR; and Melanie Santinelli (Teresa), of Ridgefield, WA; granddaughter, Lorelai; Sister, Florence Jeanette Santinelli Fayard; brother, Edward J. "EJ" Santinelli, Jr. (Kathy) of Bay St. Louis, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Judy Thornton, his girlfriend, for the love, care, support, and comfort she has given him over the last three years when he fell ill.  
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and closest friends.
