Kirk Allan Exnicious

Kirk Allan Exnicious, 58 of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in Bay St. Louis, MS. 

Kirk was born in Gulfport, MS on September 10, 1966 and if you knew Kirk you knew that he referred to that day as the Best Day Ever!

Kirk was a graduate of St Stanislaus College in Bay St Louis. He attended the University of Mississippi and absolutely loved his Ole Miss Rebels. 
He was a member of St Clare’s Catholic Church in Waveland. He worked as an Insurance Agent at Gurley and Associates and loved meeting new people and visiting with his clients.Kirk was known for being silly, telling jokes and stories and made friends every where he went. He loved to go Duck Hunting with his best friend Kenny and his family. Kirk loved eating crawfish, gumbo with potato salad and pretty much every other southern food.

Kirk was preceded in death by his loving Mother Thelma Exnicious, who spoiled him all the time; his Wife Melissa Exnicious, his “my honey”: his Father Evert Exnicious and his Grandparents.

Kirk is survived by close cousins Christine Gallagher, Donnie Dorn, David Dorn, Denise Fayard, Janine Edwards, Lisa Holzhauser and many other family members. He will be missed by lifelong friend Kenneth Johnston and family plus many friends that Kirk made over the years.

 A special thanks to Rene Koerner, who was always a great friend to him; Ms Debbie Tankersley, who helped take care of his mother and then him; Alex Shivelhood, who was a good friend and colleague; Cole Kimbrough, who was always a good friend and mentor; the Bay St Louis Fire Department and Pafford EMS, who helped Kirk over the years with patience, care and professionalism.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a Memorial Service at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Waveland Cemetery in Waveland.
