Kevin Brian Aicklen, 64, of Bay Saint Louis, MS passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024.
Kevin grew up in Bellflower, California where, in the second grade, he met the girl who would become his best friend for life and future wife, Kathy. Kevin and Kathy were married for 43 years and had three beautiful daughters who were his pride and joy.
Kevin worked as an industrial electrician who especially loved the challenges of the petrol-chemical and rock crushing industries. He had a great ability to see things clearly and could quickly determine sound solutions to problems in work as well as in daily life. Kevin was generous, extremely loyal, decisive, confident and more than willing to lend an ear or share his knowledge. He enjoyed history, politics, baseball, volleyball, the Godfather, cooking, and his favorite German Shepherd Stella. Kevin loved gathering with his large family, telling old stories and sharing memories of his many adventures. He took great pride in his role as bus driver for the OLA volleyball team and in serving on the OLA school board.
Kevin was an incredibly impactful person, a friend to so many, and he will be sorely missed.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Francis Neville Aicklen Jr; mother, Marjorie Magers; stepfather, Donald Magers; and daughter, Karolyn Aicklen.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen; daughters, Kolleen Owens (Michael) and Kayleigh Bullock (Jared); siblings, Daniel Aicklen (Deborah) and Richard Aicklen (Kimberly); step siblings, Josh Aicklen and Marla Magers; and his granddaughter, Ruth Bullock.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, followed by a Funeral Mass.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Kevin Brian Aicklen.
