Kathleen Ann Sullivan

Kathleen Ann Sullivan passed away on October 6, 2024. She was born in Dunkirk, NY on September 27, 1957 to James and Mary Ann Schnur.

Kathleen was a graduate of the University of Iowa and earned an MSW at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she later taught in the School of Social Work. She inspired her students to live a life of purpose and dedication.

Kathleen was a generous and caring soul and a passionate advocate for those in need. She was loving, optimistic and had a lively sense of humor.

She enjoyed painting, reading, and gardening. Her strong faith gave her courage and hope throughout her lifetime.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 10 at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 9 St. Fabian Way, Hattiesburg, MS. Visitation will begin at 10:30am with Mass at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Petal Children’s Task Force, 314 S. George Street, Petal, MS, 39465.
