John Michael Meyers

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of John A. & Joanne D. Meyers.  He worked as a long-time plumber, carpenter, and minister of the Gospel.  He was a member of Miracle Tabernacle Church in Waveland, MS. 

He enjoyed his family (especially the grandkids), fishing, hunting, worshiping Yahweh, serving his community, helping the needy, and praying for others.

He will be remembered for his passion for Christ and the gospel, sacrificial love and generosity, hard work ethic, and long-lasting perseverance.

He is survived by the love of his life, Kimberly Meyers and four wonderful children: Crystal Turner, Jill (& son-in-law James Ballantyne,) Katie Meyers (& fiancée Martin J Barras Jr.,) and his son John Shane Meyers, along with five grandsons, and four granddaughters.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Miracle Tabernacle: 235 Old Spanish Trail, Waveland, MS  39576.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the John Michael Meyers Kingdom Come Cemetery. 

If attending the Graveside Funeral Service, please wear hiking shoes, comfortable clothes, and if desired, a folding chair. It is a hike to the cemetery.
