Jerry "Buddy" Guidry, Jr.

Jerry "Buddy" Guidry, Jr., 58, of Bay Saint Louis, MS, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Buddy was born to Jerry, Sr. and Dessi Guidry on January 29, 1965 in Galliano, Louisiana, where he also grew up. Buddy worked as a tugboat deckhand. He moved to Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi in 1995. Buddy loved riding his motorcycle but favorite hobby was crabbing. If you visited Buddy, you would often find him sitting outside with his dog by his side. 

Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Jerry J. Guidry, Sr., brother, Timmy Guidry, and sister, Sharon St. Pierre.

He is survived by three children, Jarred Guidry, Nicole Quebedeaux (Adam), and Jordan Guidry (Heather); mother, Dessi Guidry; five grandchildren, Natalee, Landon, Kole, Jax, and Jace; three siblings, Tom Guidry (Tynell), Terry Guidry, and Doris Chouest (Dwayne); and numerous nieces and nephews.
