Jeanette T. Files

Ms. Jeanette was born in Ackerman, MS on December 24, 1938 to Henry Casey Tyler and Mattie Belle Moore Tyler. She graduated from Ackerman High School at the top of her class. She began her work career at the age of 10, and continued working in the food service and restaurant business for the next 55 years. She was a member of the Waveland United Methodist Church and her favorite pastime was working in her flowerbeds. She also enjoyed her weekly visits from family and she loved a good party.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Files; daughter, Tycie Files; parents, Henry Casey and Mattie Belle Moore Tyler and numerous siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Parker; grandson, Cody Parker (Brittany) and two great-grandchildren, Railyn and Brayden.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 at Waveland United Methodist Church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon.

Interment to follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery in Diamondhead, MS.
