Jan "JP" Charles Patrolia, Jr.

Jan “JP” Charles Patrolia, Jr., resident of Kiln, Mississippi, age 50, passed away suddenly at his mother’s home in Diamondhead on September 28, 2024. 

JP was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 11, 1974, to Jan Charles Patrolia, Sr. and Eileen Kinsley Patrolia Hamblen. 

JP is survived by his children, daughter, Angel Marie Patrolia St. Romain (Devon), sons, Michael Anthony Patrolia, and Braden Salvadore Patrolia and wife, Christie Lyell Patrolia. He is also survived by his two step-sisters, Tiffany Hamblen Geen (Bob), Jennifer Hamblen Alphonse (Ronnie) and sister, Jessica Lynn Patrolia - Tingstrom and brother Anthony Salvadore Patrolia, Sr. (Tiffany), as well several nieces and nephews. 

JP was the stepson of the late Robert (Bob) Wayne Hamblen and was stepfather to the late Love Leigh Estopinal and step grandfather to her child, Cobra Joseph Coulton Mumm. 

JP was a hardworking man and loved his family dearly. He cherished his children and was so proud to be a grandfather to his daughter’s child, Collin Michael St. Romain and a step grandfather to Cobra. JP lived life to the fullest having a smile on his face most of the time, making funny faces, having a tremendous sense of humor, and often pulling silly pranks. He was definitely a jokester keeping everyone laughing. He maintained lifelong friendships and was always willing to help anyone in need. In his spare time, he loved to hunt, fish, and ride dirt bikes with his boys. He had a love and passion for all animals, especially his dogs. JP was a member for many years of the Local Carpenters Union 1846. He was currently employed by Gulf Shore Construction Services as an Engineering Technician. He loved his job and the people he worked with. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and coworkers. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Jacobs’s Well Baptist Church, 29554 Vic Faye Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571. Memorial visitation begins at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Church Service at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in JP’s memory may be made to Jacob’s Well Baptist Church.
