James Irvin Bourgeois

James loved to fish for Bass, take his boat out, shoot guns, and he loved making everyone laugh by being a jokester. He was a wonderful and loving father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice M. Bourgeois; son, James Irvin Bourgeois, Jr.; mother, Georgianna Carver; and father, Joseph N. Bourgeois.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Gomez; two sons, Timothy and Douglas Bourgeois; brother, Johnny Bourgeois; two granddaughters, Mandy Shiyou and Heather Gaines; three grandsons, Seth Peret, Aaron Bourgeois, and James Bourgeois; and several great-grandkids.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Bayou LaCroix Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
