Glenn David Fountain Sr., 59, of Bay St. Louis, MS, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Bay St. Louis, MS.
Glenn served as a SGT. in the Army National Guard. He was a decorated soldier, who served in Operation Desert Storm. He was honorably discharged in August of 1991.
Glenn most enjoyed time spent with family, camping, and anything having to do with the outdoors. "Paw-Paw" cherished the time spent with all of his grandchildren, and loved to be on the sidelines cheering them on at sports events. Glenn will be missed greatly by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis (LJ), and Audrey Fountain; brother, Tom Fountain, and many more beloved family members.
He is survived by his children, James Vaughan (Amy), Christina Dreyer (Donald), Glenn "David" Fountain Jr, and Thomas Fountain (Amber); grandchildren, Ethan, Kolby, Logan, Isaiah, Ethan, Gabriel, Thomas "Tj" , Zachariah, and Emmarie; siblings, Jay Fountain (Diane), Mike Fountain, Kenneth Fountain (Patti), Tyrone Fountain (Wendy), and Blaine Fountain (Victoria) as well as nieces, nephews and many more who mourn his loss.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Reception to follow at Sam C. Ladner Memorial Post No, 4808 VFW: 7316 Lower Bay Rd. Bay St. Louis, MS 39520.
