GeDohnne’ Kerri White, known to friends and loved ones as “GiGi”, went to her heavenly rest on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
She was born on October 4, 1953, as the sixth of eight children of Johnnie A. White and Jewel (Welch) White in Winter Haven, FL. She was the loving mother to Myhria Hall (and Johnny Watzke) and grandmother to Harmony Hall (and Darren Lepine) and Dakota Watzke of Bay St Louis. She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren Jade’lenn, Aubrie, Kenslee, and Carson.
GiGi loved to cook from an early age, creating unique recipes for family and friends. Cooking organic food and researching their health benefits led to delicious meals and desserts that she shared with many of us. We are not sure which she loved best, but she also started her massage therapy business and began formulating organic skin care products and natural healthcare supplements. ‘GeDohnne’s Garden” became a reality 30+ years ago, and her products were available in a number of places in Bay St Louis, Houston, Tallahassee and even as far as Jamaica. She was a free-spirit who loved helping others achieve a healthier, more beautiful life.
While GeDohnne’ is greeted in heaven by her parents and older brother David, she lives on in the hearts of Myhria, Harmony, Dakota, her great-grandchildren, and a half-dozen siblings: Joyce Mathis (Auburndale, FL), Randy White (Havana, FL), Faye (& Bobby) Wells (Limestone, TN), Joanne (& Bruce) Northridge (Waveland, MS), Tony (& Tammy) White (Woodville, FL), Angie (& Danny) Brown (Perry, FL) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Old Town Presbyterian Church, 114 Ulman Ave, Bay St Louis, MS. Friends and Family are invited back to the house afterwards – The Gathering Place, 304 Louisa St, Waveland, MS,A private burial at the Waveland Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of GeDohnne' Kerri White.
