Frances Hamlin Bromwell

Frances "Fran" Bromwell, 75, of Waveland, MS passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023.
Fran was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. She loved gardening, spending time with her group of friends, dining out, watching scary movies and an occasional camping trip. Her favorite pastime was cooking for her family and spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Fran was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Floyd "Sonny" Bromwell; her parents, Lloyd & Ella Hamlin; siblings, Bill Hamlin, Joyce Montgormery, Lois Ann Hamlin, Pat Strunk, Norma -Jean Richards, Betty Sawatzki, Rada Kneipp;  and sister-in-law Beverly Bromwell-Green.
She is survived by three children, Tammy Fayard (Don), Troy Bromwell (Margaret) and Eric Bromwell; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
In Lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude Children's Cancer in honor of her great-granddaughter, Nora Sellers Goodsell.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their unwavering care of our mother and the dedication of our friends and family that checked on us during this difficult time. We know she was the kindest person and the world gave that back to her at the time she needed it.
 A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery (next to St. Rose Catholic Church) on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 10:00 am with Father Avil Thomas in attendance.
