Ethel May Eason, 85, left for her eternal home to be with our Lord and Savior, Monday, December 4, 2023. She went peacefully with her son Wayne and her daugter Cynthia at her side.
She was a resident of Diamondhead, MS.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Charlie” Byron Eason.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne Eason and Darryl Eason; daughter, Cynthia Messina; grandchildren, Hunter Eason, Rebekah Eason, Justin Messina and Emily Messina.
Ethel was a devoted homemaker who always kept a pristine house and never stopped working. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt. She instilled a firm belief in others to laugh at situations or events they didn’t like. She was always willing to share many laughs and giggles to help uplift their spirits. Ethel loved working outside and growing beautiful flowers and shrubs. Throughout her life she also loved many family cats and dogs.
A heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the caring Gentiva Hospice team who were there for Ethel during the last few weeks of her life. The team included Cynthia, Ramona, Klaire, James and Valerie.
