Elizabeth "Betty" Adams, known affectionately as "MawMaw" 86, of Waveland, MS passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 in Waveland, MS.
Betty enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to Cajun and country music, drinking decaf coffee, talking on the phone, collecting photos of loved ones and being an active part of her grandchildren’s lives, named the world’s best grandma.
She loved her family dearly and her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.
She was an amazing mother, maw maw, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Adams; parents, Ernest and Annie Lobrano; daughter, Julie Casbon; son, Julius Casbon; four brothers, Tommy, Charles, Morris and Perry Lobrano; sister, Tina Adams; and grandson, Robert Casbon.
She is survived by her son, Philip Casbon; three daughters, Patty Mayweather, Yolanda Marie Sanders, and Linda K. McCullough; two sisters, Anna Mae Anclade, and Jerry Barrios; fifteen grandchildren, Julius, Britnei, Megan, Tory, Gerard, Al, Trish, Robin, Lexi, Karley, Joshua, Rachel, Behr, Jack, and Maverick; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to: Hancock County Animal Shelter, 7175 Texas Flat Road, Kiln, MS 39556 or CASA of Hancock County, 644 Dunbar Ave, Bay Saint Louis, MS, 39520.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. followed by a reception until 5:00 p.m.
