Donna M. Boyd

Donna was born in NJ on Sept 8, 1963 and grew up in Union City, IN where she graduated from UCHS in 1982. She went on to obtain a Bachelor Of Nursing from IU East in 1994. Subsequently, she moved to KY to begin her career as an ICU nurse. In 1996, she joined the USAF to further her expertise at KAFB in Biloxi, MS where she met the love of her life, Al, and married in December of 2002. Donna left the USAF as a Captain in 2001 to work for the VA where she then pursued a Master of Nursing in 2004.  She worked as a Nurse Practitioner from 2004 to 2019, caring for and touching the lives of those that came to see her. Donna was a generous, ambitious, and loving woman and was admired by those that knew her. She loved cooking, decorating, spending time with family.  She loved life in Bay St Louis and the MS Gulf Coast. Her cheerful attitude and compassion will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband: Al, daughter: Brittney, son-in-law Emmitt Close and three grandchildren: Bryson, Cameron and Colleen, in addition to five siblings and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sarah Barnes.
