Diana "Nana" Ladner Seal

“Nana”…as she was affectionately known, lived an active and joyful life. She enjoyed everything that was happy, sparkly, and fun. She had a huge love for shoes, purses, blouses, dancing, watching Days of Our Lives, attending the events of her children and grandchildren, Disney World and all things Mardi Gras. Nana reigned as Queen of Carnival for Dunbar Village in Bay St Louis on two separate occasions at which she wore her crown proudly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Randolph Joseph Ladner; mother, Eloise Strong Ladner Williams; sister, Joyce Ladner Garcia; two brothers-in- law, Donald Sager and Phillip Seal and nephew, Cayce Seal.

Diana is survived by her husband of 49 years, Oren (Buddy) Seal; children, Dinah (Robert) Jenkins and Dara (Nolan Doss) Hinkel; grandchildren, Kaylee and Madison Hinkel, Davy, Abby, and Maddy Jenkins, Doug (Michele) Seal and their son Cody Seal; two great-grandchildren along with her brother Randy (Judy) Ladner and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family of Diana Seal wishes to thank the staff of Dunbar Village for all of their love and care for the past couple of years. Also, a very special thank you to Peyton Lee and his team from Enhabit Hospice for the specialized care and attention received during this most difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Clare Catholic Church: 236 S Beach Blvd. Waveland, MS 39576.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at St Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. A private burial will be held after Mass.
