Derek Nicklas Knight

Derek Nicklas Knight, 43, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in Bay St. Louis.

Derek was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS where he received Conformation from Father Jacob.

He enjoyed music, working in the yard, and clearing their Lots. Derek will be sadly missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frankie Hall Knight, uncle & Godfather, Gerald Nicholas Derer, grandparents, Nicholas & Lillian Derer and Hall & Eloise Knight; aunts, Nette Faye Pierce and June Hensarling.

Survived by his mother, Eileen Derer Knight; numerous cousins, Susan Derer Drobb, Deborah Ann Derer, Tyler Drobb (Gillian), Carol Renteria, Karen Morales, and Denise Mignogna; Godmother, Nell Rodriquez; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be Thursday, January 30, 2025, at St. Clare Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. The family will receive guests from 10:30 AM until Mass.
