Colby Mathew Shoemake, 24, of Hancock County passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Colby graduated from Hancock North Central High School, Jr ROTC and Pearl River Community College.
He loved gaming, classic cars, ziplining, waterparks, camping, outdoors, and playing magic. He loved working with his hands fixing things.
Colby was a smart, handsome young man who had an extremely large heart. He helped anyone who was in need. He stood up for the little guy. He wanted to change the world, to make a difference. Colby was loved by many, he will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Julie Kern Clark; grandfather, Randall Shoemake; great-grandmother, Nancy Kern; and great-grandfather, Edward Poolson, Sr.
Survived by his mother, Stephanie Poolson Shoemake; father, Steven Mathew Shoemake; step-father, Tony Wallen; sister, Julie Gordon; two brothers, Eian Wallen and Steven Shoemake; grandfather, Edward Poolson Jr.; grandmother, Jeanice Hudson; two aunts, Baylee Poolson Renshaw and Shawna Clark; two uncles, Lane Poolson and Marcus Shoemake; great-grandparents, Donald & Dolores Kern and Joann Poolson; aunts & uncles, Donald Kern, Jr., Dawn Roberts, Buffie Kidd, Chris Poolson, John Poolson, and numerous other relatives.
A Memorial Service will be Monday, October 3, 2022 at noon at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. The family will receive guests from 10:30 am until noon.
