Clyde Joseph Bourgeois

Clyde Joseph Bourgeois, 84, of Waveland, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Clyde was a dedicated member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland and Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis. He completed his education at St. Stanislaus College and went on to serve honorably in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, he earned a degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi. Clyde enjoyed a successful career with Magnolia Marketing Company in the 1960s, which later evolved into Republic National Company, from which he retired in 2008.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Forrest and Bonita Bourgeois, and his brother, Forrest "Cuddie" Bourgeois.

Clyde is survived by his sister, Earline Thomas; brother, Shelton Bourgeois (Judy); four nieces, Tammy Thornton (Scott), April Carpenter (Fox), Charlene Mallini (Tony), and DeeDee Warman (David); three nephews, Eddie Bourgeois, Robert Bourgeois (Vickie), and Forrest Bourgeois, along with numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at St. Clare Catholic Church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place at Bayou CoCo in Kiln, Mississippi.
