Clement "Clem" Joseph DeLacroix, Jr., 66 of Picayune, MS passed away Saturday, December 24, 2023 in Picayune, MS.
Clem was a member of the Westlawn Baptist Church in Picayune, MS. He was the founder of the West Hancock Fire and Rescue and an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clem & Irma Bennett DeLacroix, Sr.; Father and mother-in-law, Leon & Maxine Kemp Smith Sr.; brother-in-law, Benjamin McKennie; and sister-in-law, Julie Guidry;
He is survived by his wonderful and loving wife of 38 years, Marsha Delacroix; daughter, Sandra Leean Mitchell (Julian); son, Shaun Eric Howard; sister, Donna Getman (Anthony); eight grandchildren, Alexis Howard, Hannah Howard, Dylan Mitchell, Blake Mitchell, Brody Howard, Braydon Howard, Noah Howard, Ryder Howard; Niece, Aimee Villa; nephew, Jeffrey Harville; great-niece, Madilyn Meadows; great-nephew, Ryan Anthony Villa; three sisters-in-law, Leann Lumpkin (Vern); Karen Easterling (Gary); and Sharon McKennie; three brothers-in-law, Leon Smith, Jr (Donna), Stacy Mauffray, Jackie Guidry; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 9:00 am until noon at Pearlington United Methodist Church with a Prayer Service at noon. Interment will follow in Pearlington Cemetery.
