Christelle Easterling Reyes

Christelle “Christy” Ann Easterling Reyes, 54, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 in Slidell, LA.

Christy loved music, dancing, coloring, crafting, word puzzles, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Rogers Easterling; two grandmothers, Dorothy Glover and Charlotte “Granny” Richardson; two aunts, Evelyn Higgins and Debbie Henley; uncle, Lionel Preston Glover; and nephew, Christian Samuel Yargo.

She is survived by her wonderful and loving husband of 17 years, Benny Reyes, Jr.; son, Benjamin Cory Light (Angela); mother, Carolyn Glover; two sisters, Bridgette Glover and Rebecca Dufresne (Robert); brother, Charles “Dusty” Sharp (Megan); uncle, Steve Easterling; mother-in-law, Charlene Nabak; six nieces & nephews, Nick Yargo, Brandi Yargo, Trevor Clark, Harley Dufresne, Dominick Burkhart, Addison Sharp; three great nieces, Indigoh Roselina Yargo, Nora Yargo, and Vilolet Morris; and two God nieces, Ashley & Ciara Huber.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon followed by a reception at the VFW Post 3253: 208 Third Street, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520. Entombment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans, LA at a later date.
