Barbara LaBella Platz

Barbara LaBella Platz passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the age of 81 in Bay St. Louis, MS.

Barbara was born on August 26, 1943, to Peter and Dora LaBella in New Orleans, LA. She was a graduate of Martin Behrman High School in New Orleans.

She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Platz, parents, Peter and Dora LaBella, son, Trian Platz, and sisters Lena LaBella and Marie Rains.

Barbara is survived by her children, Andrea Platz Kinniburgh (Brent) and Jason Platz (Salli Griffin) and her grandchildren Sadie Platz, Marley Kinniburgh, Kaylin Kinniburgh and MadelynKinniburgh.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 1:30-2:30 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home with a memorial service at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian, MS.

Barbara will hold a special place in our hearts with her caring and giving spirit. She always put the needs of her family before her own. With a strong faith in God, she faced every challenge with courage. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her inspiration will live on in all whose lives she touched.
