Anthony J. "Beany" Beverung

Anthony  was born in New Orleans, LA and grew up in Chalmette. He attended Chalmette High School and became a talented football player and was named Mr. Chalmette. He also attended LSU. He went on to own and operate Beany's A/C & Heat for over 40 years. Anthony had an amazing memory, never forgetting a face or name. He was NEVER too old to learn more about his trade, always taking the latest classes on air-conditioning.

He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be truly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, Warren Sr. and Carmelite Beverung and sister, Adrienne Miller.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Charmaine Beverung of Bay St. Louis; daughter, Sherry B. Foucha (Chris) of Diamondhead; granddaughter, Ashley F. Everett of Diamondhead; great-granddaughter, Jolie Everett of Diamondhead; brother, Warren Beverung, Jr. (Lydia) of Cary, NC; step-children, Artie Krementz (Amanda), Kelly K. Winders, and Kevin Krementz; six grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren and six nieces and nephews, Joseph R. Miller "Hammerhead", Jamie H. Dominick (John), Chip Beverung (Rachel), Brandy Beverung, Christopher Seibel, and Michael Seibel.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date.
